UTORSubmit is an assignment submission system created at UTM. It allows instructors to create assignments and collect files electronically from their students. Students can upload files to the website to submit to the assignments created by their instructors. You can access UTORSubmit by visiting http://www.utm.utoronto.ca/submit. You will be required to login with your UTORid and password.
If you need any files that have been submitted to you via UTORSubmit using the older version of the software, please contact UTM Information & Instructional Technology Services.
Create An Account
Log into UTORSubmit using your UTORid and password. Any courses you are teaching during the current semester should be displayed. Please Note: If you do not see your courses listed in UTORSubmit, please verify with your Department Business Officer or ROSI Administrator that your UTORid has been associated with the course in ROSI.

Using UTORSubmit
Set the parameters for the assignment and the submission of files. Students use their UTORid and password to upload their files. Any student enrolled in your course in ROSI will have automatic access to your UTORSubmit assignments. Instructors or TAs can then view or download and grade the papers. Students access their graded papers once they have been uploaded by the instructor or TA. For more detailed instructions on how to use UTORSubmit see the UTORSubmit Instructor Guide. Create a TA Account
UTORSubmit accounts can be created for your TA(s). Please note that:
- TAs can only see the contents of the files handed in, and download assignments after the due date.
- TAs will only have access to the originality score for those assignments associated with Ouriginal.
- TAs cannot create or edit assignments.
- TAs have access to the class list.
