Summary

Interested in gathering immediate feedback from students?  Want to stimulate class discussion or gain insight about student learning from formative assessment data?  You are invited to come out for an informal discussion of four classroom response systems from a variety of disciplinary perspectives. Opportunities to explore in-class strategies to engage student participation and hence foster a deeper understanding of course material will also be considered. Participants will also be encouraged to share their current practices and have an opportunity to test some of the classroom response tools in a classroom simulation.

Learn about the features, pros and cons of a variety of classroom response tools.  As well, we will review University of Toronto guidelines regarding the use of 3rd party tools, and provide some suggestions on how you can protect student data privacy and security when using these types of tools.
