Part I: Academic and Information Literacy: Transitioning to the Job Market

Transitioning successfully from the classroom to the job market requires the use of your academic knowledge and critical thinking skills in new ways that draws on your information and academic literacy. Two one-hour sessions on how to promote and use your academic and information knowledge and studies when starting a new career or entering the job market is the focus of two sessions. After 4 or 5 years of study, this is your strength, what you need to utilize. In addition, you will be introduced to resources at UTM when planning and starting a career.
