Background
The Digital Scholarship Unit at the University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM) Library was established in 2019. Since the early 2000s, the Library has partnered with campus organizations and communities in digital projects. Some of the early digital projects included digitized materials from the UTM Archive, collaborations with campus departments on digital initiatives, scholarly journals, and research collections on TSpace.
Mandate
The mandate of the University of Toronto Mississauga Library’s Digital Scholarship Unit is to develop and maintain digital projects for the Library by creating and using digital methods, theories, and tools to support curricula and research at the University of Toronto Mississauga.
