πŸ‘ The library Ambassador Program is truly amazing! I learned so many valuable skills I will take with me beyond my undergraduate and into the new world. For instance, I learned leadership skills, communication skill, interpersonal skills, collaboration skills, and problem solving skills. It also presented so many new and unique opportunities for me that I would not have gotten elsewhere, for instance, hosting de-stress events with cool crafting, that we as ambassadors had to organize and host, and also, how we give tours on all four floors of the library! Overall, the program was an experience that was genuinely worth itβ€” from building new skills, such as how to do good Photoshop design, to how to conduct interviews, to going to Game Expo events, every event taught me something new, and it is an experience I will always treasure. Alongside all of these amazing experiences, are ones that allows me to make new friends and connections that I will cherish beyond the program, through tight-knit meetings each week, and working alongside one another to host and work through events! - Darsimran Kahlon
Library Ambassador Photo πŸ‘ The Library Ambassador Program is my first engagement on campus, and I am so glad it is! I have learned so much through this program, and through our coordinator, Donna's, encouragement I have improve my skills and ventured outside my comfort zone! Things like tabling at Fall Campus Day seemed very intimidating at first, but now I really enjoy engaging with people and offering help where I can. Giving tours to prospective students and hosting de-stress events with my teammates helped improve my communication and organizations skills - and it was a lot of fun! I learned how to use Photoshop software and how to prepare for AND lead an interview, which is just very valuable knowledge. Overall, my experience as an ambassador has been incredible and I look forward to coming back! - Roseleen Kohli

You also get to meet new people and make new friends and connections! Overall, it was and will continue to be a positive and rewarding experience for me during my time at UTM. - Madison Mickalakos
Photo of Library Ambassador πŸ‘ As a first year, the library ambassador program was a great way for me to learn more about campus resources and meet new people.
