The U of T Mississauga Library has a small but extensive collection of paper maps for research and teaching. The collection is located on the first level of the Library near Smart Classrooms. Unlike books in our collection, our map collection is uncatalogued. Maps do not circulate. The maps are organized by series.

National Topographic Series Maps
The Library is a full depository for Canadian National Topographic Map Series (NTS) maps. We hold all current and new NTS maps printed for all areas of the country. More info about our NTS collection.
Thematic Maps
The Library also has a miscellaneous collection of maps covering thematic topics from the local planning to bird migrations around the world. Included in the collection are City of Mississauga Base Maps, Ontario Base Maps, Soil Survey maps of Ontario, and the global National Geographic series.
National Geologic Maps of Canada
The Library has a large collection of geologic mapping covering all of Canada. These are filed according to the same NTS number used by the Topographic Maps. These are in drawers marked "Geology Maps - Canada".
