Request Reserve Materials
Do you want to provide your students with access to course readings through your Quercus course? Then email your reading list to UTM Library Reserves or visit the UTM Library's course reserves page for more information.
Receiving Your Readings
After submitting your reading lists, the Library's reserves staff will send your readings (syllabus with stable links to the readings and/or files of copyright compliant scanned documents) via email. Depending on the number of readings requested, you may receive PDFs attached to an email message, or a link to initiate a download of a zipped file. Zipped files are stored in UT Secure Dropbox and can be accessed via a special link emailed to your U of T email account.
To access the UT Secure Dropbox files:
- Click on the link contained in the email message, this will take you to the UT Secure Dropbox;
- In the drop-box, click on the filename to initiate a download;
- The zipped file will be downloaded to your computer;
- To unzip the file, and access your PDF readings, double click the .zip file.
If you need help working with zipped files or uploading your files into Quercus please let us know! You can give us a call (905-601-8859), or chat with us or leave a message below.
